The Fitness Centre
A Hotel Gym Built for People Who Actually Train
Equipment that works. Air conditioning that keeps up.
The standard "hotel gym" is usually a converted storage room containing one wobbly treadmill and a solitary yoga mat. We travel enough to know how frustrating it is to have to skip training or improvise a bodyweight circuit in your room because the hotel facility is unusable.
The DHR Fitness Centre was designed as a proper gym. It is open 24 hours a day, accessible via your guest keycard, because jet lag and early start times don't care about standard opening hours.
Equipment: commercial-grade cardio machines (treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical cross-trainers), a free weights section with dumbbells from 2kg to 30kg, a barbell rack with plates, resistance machines for major muscle groups, and floor space with mats for mobility work, yoga, or bodyweight training. The room is ventilated separately from the hotel air circulation — it does not smell like a gym, which is a sentence that needs to be said explicitly about hotel gyms.
Towels and filtered water are provided at no charge. Lockers are available in the changing room adjacent to the fitness centre. The space holds up to eight people comfortably — on most mornings you'll have it to yourself between 5:30am and 7am, which is when the serious guests tend to use it.
Included Access: There is no additional charge for hotel guests using the fitness centre. It is included in every room rate, at every tier.
